Good morning?

It's evening right?! No, I'm not going crazy, yesterday I got up very early and waited for the sun to rise. I got dressed went grocery shopping and by the time I was back the sun was bright and early and as beautiful as always. The birds sang, the snow from earlier this week melted slowly, and some people were walking with their dogs.
I walked for a while until I reached a point of complete silence and nothing more than nature around me. It was a lovely morning. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year !

You've probably heard it a thousand times before today, but today is the day that we jump into another year. Another year of love, joy and of course, photography.

My new years day started at 00:00 AM. I kissed my loved ones and my boyfriend grabbed my camera and jacket, ran outside and began to take pictures of the beautiful fireworks.

Here in the Netherlands you're allowed to have your own fireworks and do whatever you want to do with it, unless it's illegal. So my brother, boyfriend and I bought some fireworks earlier in the day.

Yes, I have a boyfriend. We're together since the 16th of September 2012. His name is Brian and you will get to know him better because he helps me A LOT with my photos.

There is nothing more to say about new years day. Enjoy some of the pictures

Welcome,

One simple word to start my blog with. Let me introduce myself.

My name is Sanne, I'm an 17 year old photography blogger from the Netherlands ( a really small country on the other side of the north sea near England ), some people call it Holland, cause that's the easy word. Oh well..even though I love photography I do not study photography. I'm currently studying in Rotterdam to become a teacher ( AND I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT ).

I'm still living with my parents near Rotterdam, a little city called Delft. Delft is one of the little famous cities the Netherlands have. Some people even call it little Amsterdam.

I've always been the weird one in my family and in my little group of friends, my hair is red ,I love all sorts of music and I'm the one who ends up extremely drunk or tipsy at the end of the evening and loves everything and everyone.

Back to photography. I'm currently using a Nikon D80 with its original lens and for some easy shots a Sony Cybershot DSC-H400. I do have more camera's, but I'll make a post about that sooner or later.

With this blog I'll keep you updated with my life and my photo's. And, of course, the progress in my life.
